We have a fantastic opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a small family run practice in Crewe, Cheshire on a full or part-time permanent basis.
Our clients’ RCVS accredited practice is located in Crewe, within easy reach of various amenities and great transport links to Cheshire and Chester. They are members of the ISFM, working closely with charities such as Dogs Trust and Cats Protection.
You’ll be working with partners, a Vet with 17 years’ experience and an RVN with 11 years’ experience. They lead a supportive team of 2 Vets, 3 qualified Nurses, a second year trainee Nurse and 2 Client Care Advisors
You will have use of fully equipped in-house blood analysers and laboratory, digital xray machine, ultrasound unit, separate cat and dog wards, isolation unit, dental equipment. You’ll also enjoy a large and varied small furry case load.
This is a permanent full or part-time position for a Veterinary Surgeon. The working hours are 30-40 per week with 1 in 2 weekends and no out of hours.
The Ideal candidate would be comfortable with a sole charge position although support will be provided for emergencies, with a 2nd vet coming in either for surgery or diagnostic imaging. Experience in orthopaedics would also be advantageous. You must also have good communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients, the patients and the practice team.
