We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join a well established small animal practice in Hampstead, North London. The role is full time and permanent.

The Practice:

This practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be fully supported within your new role, working with a supportive team made up of two vets, two nurses and support staff.

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent role for a Head Veterinary Nurse. The hours are 40 per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays and time off in lieu.

The Candidate:

This role could be suited to an established HRVN with previous experience of leading a team or a confident RVN who is ready to take the next step into a head nurse position, while working in a nice, supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.
