We are working with a small animal practice near Rotherham, South Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a Lead Veterinary surgeon in a full-time permanent position.
This is a purpose-built veterinary hospital offering a safe and secure working environment in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
The hospital has 3 consult rooms, 3 theatres and much more! It opened in 2002 in a brand-new purpose-designed building. In addition to the advantages of being able to plan the facilities such as the imaging suite and operating theatres from scratch, the chosen site has plenty of parking space for staff and clients and room to expand!
This is a full-time permanent position for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon. The exact working pattern together with any out of hours or weekend requirements is to be confirmed.
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery, capable of working sole charge. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients.
