We are working with a small animal practice in Royston, Hertfordshire that is looking to recruit a Lead Veterinary surgeon in a full-time permanent position.
The practice comes well-equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound and much more. The practice is also responsible for the care of the Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charities Hedgehog Hospital, in which they deal with over 600 hedgehogs per year. There are exciting opportunities for you to be involved in the committee of the hospital if this would be of interest.
This is a full-time permanent position for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon. The role involves working 1 in 3 Saturdays with no on-call or out of hours.
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery, capable of working sole charge. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients.
