We are working with a independent, long established veterinary practice in Belper, Derbyshire. who are wanting to recruit a full time small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. This position comes with an attractive salary of circa £33,000 p/a combined with accommodation of a 2 bed flat with all bills paid. The practice offers a second small, quiet waiting room for nervous animals and their owners; with full hospitalisation and surgical facilities.
Established in 1950's this practice offers a large car park and is on a direct bus route, making life easier for clients and staff a like. This long-established practice prides itself on being a local business with loyal client base. The practice is a first opinion practice, referring to specialists when required, although most staff have specialism training which reduces the need for referrals. This friendly team consists of 2 full time and 1 part time veterinary surgeon that works alongside a team of 3 RVNs.
This is a full-time position working 4.5 days per week Monday to Friday, between the hours of 08:30 - 18:30 with a weekend rota of 1:2 Saturday mornings 08:30 - 12:00 with no OOH requirements. Typical daily duties include 3 days consults am & pm with 2 days surgery am and consults pm.
In return, our client is offering a very attractive package of circa £33,000 p/a (DOE) with accommodation comprising of a 2 bedroom flat with all bills paid.
Are you a qualified Veterinary Surgeon who is a good team player with strong communication skills? Are you confident in your own abilities? You will be joining a small friendly team that shares ideas and working practices.
Our client is looking for a vet that has 3 years post graduate experience, that is also competent in basic surgeries.
