We are working with an independent small animal veterinary practice, who are looking to recruit a permanent full time Veterinary Surgeon. Our client has a 5 site practices situated on the M5 corridor in Somerset, within easy reach of Bristol, Exeter and Bath. This role would be suitable for a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years experience that wanting to develop their skills and work up their own cases within a supportive team environment.
This is a rural but progressive small animal practice which prides itself on their practice-client relationship and therefore have conduct their own out of hours service. The practice provides a guaranteed high level of service with surgical and imaging facilities, together with complementary medicine. The practice places great emphasis on training and education, with all staff attending regular courses, tutorials and conferences. The practice is also a foster practice for the University of Bristol Veterinary School.
This is a full time position covering 4.5 days a week, with out of hours rota of 1:6 on call weekends and 1 weeknight every fortnight working with one of the practice RVNs.
