We have a fantastic opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients two practices, one in Cambridgeshire and the other in Lincolnshire. This position is full-time and permanent.
One practice is in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire and the other in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.
The practices are well-established with a lovely client base and varied caseload. They are both well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory.
This is an interesting and varied position. The role will primarily be based at our clients’ busy Fenland market town of Wisbech. However, you will be required to support their newly refurbished practice in the rural Lincolnshire town of Long Sutton, located just 25 minutes from King's Lynn.
You will be fully supported by the team at Wisbech where you will work alongside a knowledgeable Lead Veterinary Surgeon and fabulous nursing team. Whilst at Long Sutton you will also work alongside an experienced Lead Vet who has worked at the branch for 8 years, another experienced Veterinary Surgeon and four friendly and supportive nursing team.
This full time permanent position would suit an enterprising vet who enjoys delivering a high level of patient and client care.
You will need at least one year's UK (or UK equivalent) small animal practice experience and be confident working sole charge at times. Our clients’ will provide strong mentorship and support in your new role.
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients.
