We are working with a independent large veterinary practice in Runcorn, Cheshire who are looking to recruit a permanent Veterinary Surgeon with small animal or mixed experience - 60% small animal, 25% equine, 10% farm and 5% exotics. Preferably 1 years’ experience, however an outstanding new graduate would be considered.
This is an independent practice which provides care for such a wide variety of animals, including fish, reptiles, birds, small mammals, dogs, cats, horses, farm animals and zoo animals. The practice runs it’s own out of hours service ensuring continuity for the client and animal and allowing to provide a much more personal service. The facilities include x-rays, ECG’s, endoscopy, ultrasound scanners, with in-house laboratory and dental equipment, with the addition of an MRI and CT Scanner planned for the near future.
This is a full-time position working 40 hrs a week with various shifts between 08:30 -19:00 Monday to Friday. The weekend rota is 1:4 with 1 day off in lieu every other week. The out of hours rota is to be confirmed.
