We are working with a client with a small animal referral hospital in Aberdeen, Scotland who has an opening for a small animal Medicine Clinician of advanced practitioner level or higher. This position can have flexible working hours to suit you.
The practice is conveniently based just north of Aberdeen. The local area is renowned for offering a great quality of life with excellent beaches, hills, schools and city amenities/transport hubs. The hospital offer a comprehensive list of services to include orthopaedic, spinal, neurology, oncology, soft tissue and imaging.
The practice has 2 state of the art surgical theatres with positive pressure ventilation and air filtering system. Diagnostic imaging suite with direct digital radiography a permanent 16 slice CT scanner and visiting MRI. High resolution screens to view radiographic and CT images during Surgery, Ultrasound, Endoscopy and Arthroscopy.
Isolation ward for infectious cases. Inpatient hospitalisation wards provide safe, warm and comfortable accommodation. Radioactive iodine suite. You will be joining a professional team made up of: 1 Clinical Director, 1 Visiting Clinician, 1 Veterinary surgeon, 1 Intern and a team of nurses and management and reception staff.
This is a permanent position for a small animal Medicine Clinician. Our clients’ can offer flexible working hours to fit around your requirements and the existing medicine service- this can be from part time to full time as you wish. Our clients’ visiting clinician has established a medicine caseload. It has been clear there has been a local requirement for this service and referring practices have requested a continuous medicine presence at our clients’ hospital.
