We have an amazing opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon with a feline interest to work at a practice based in Bath, Somerset.
The practice has a small, friendly team. Ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in house bloods including EPOC. First opinion clinic but with a wide range of cases and the ability to work them up fully if necessary with additional facilities of our clients’ Referrals hospital (MRI/CT scanner/endoscopy) close by. There are lots of case continuity and good communications within the team including support of an MANZCVS Feline Medicine colleague if required. You will be joining a welcoming team of 2 vets, 2 nurses and 2 receptionists.
This role for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon is part-time and permanent. However, if a full-time position is required, additional hours are available within our clients’ veterinary group at their other surgeries. There are no out of hours.
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
