We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking Vet to join our clients’ friendly team as a full-time, permanent Clinical Director. The practice is in Fort William, in the Western Scottish Highlands.
Fort William is a town in the western Scottish Highlands, on the shores of Loch Linnhe. It’s known as a gateway to Ben Nevis, the U.K.’s highest peak, and Glen Nevis valley, home to Steall Falls. The nearby Nevis Range Mountain Resort has ski runs and forest trails. This practice would be ideal for those who would love to take advantage of the stunning location surrounded by mountains, lochs, rivers & wildlife, yet they are only 2 hours from the city lights.
This is an RCVS core standards accredited practice that aims to promote and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care. Their practice is well-equipped and offers a range of diagnostic services which include: x-ray, ultrasound, in-house blood testing, microscopy, rigid endoscopy, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring. They have a good relationship with many specialists working across Scotland.
This is a full-time permanent position for a Clinical Director. Caseloads include 80% small animal and 20% beef. There could be flexibility in the role being 4 or 5 days. The out of hours rota is 1 in 5.
Our clients’ are looking for a confident, innovative veterinary surgeon who wants to make a difference and further their career in this Joint Clinical Director post. Management experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as leadership and practice support are in place and training offered.

The position comes with a generous salary package - up to £75,000 per annum subject to experience, practice performance Director bonus scheme, a relocation package of up to £5,000 as required; as well as other benefits including a generous CPD budget, BVA membership, private healthcare and group pension.
