We are working with a practice in Inverness, in the Western Scottish Highlands that is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to work on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an RCVS accredited small animal practice. Our clients’ pride themselves on offering the best service and are complemented by a Referral practice. They encourage learning and currently have three vets working towards their certificate. All their vets have their own area of interest which adds to the service they offer.
They have separate cat and dog waiting rooms and wards, full IDEXX Vet Lab, endoscopy, ultrasound, CR x-ray, digital dental x-ray, new microscope and laparoscopic surgical equipment.
Inverness is a great place to live especially if you enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with skiing, mountain biking and water sports all within an hour.
This is a full-time permanent position for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. The exact working pattern together with any weekend or out of hours requirements are to be confirmed.
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
