Our client is a well established practice with two branches in the Southeast of England. They are now looking to recruit a full-time Veterinary Surgeon with 1 years' experience or a newly graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join their very busy, friendly team.
The practice was one of the earliest registered Veterinary Animal Hospitals in the country and they invest heavily in staff training across the board and are currently registered as a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre. Offering a complete personal service to their clients' with a member of the nursing team directly responsible for the individual care of hospitalised pets, aiming to offer the highest standards of patient and client care.
The practice is currently in the middle of a refurbishment and offers:-
- Two waiting rooms enabling them to separate quieter patients from their more boisterous visitors.
- Modern and fully equipped operating theatre.
- A full range of internal and external diagnostic facilities including: blood testing, ECG heart recording, endoscopy, ultrasonography, light microscopy, x-ray suite, air driven dental machine, ear irrigation system, a multi-parameter anaesthesia monitor and a Tonometer.
- Separate cat and dog wards.
- Isolation facilities.
This is a permanent full-time Veterinary Surgeon position working a 4 day week between the hours of 08:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday. The weekend requirement is 1: 4 Saturdays 09:00 - 12:00 with no OOHs. Typical daily duties are a 50/50 split of consults and surgeries.
