We are working with a lovely small animal practice in Newport, South Wales that is looking to recruit a full-time permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy practice. The practice is looking for a Lead Vet to support their 8 vet clinic, this role would suit a vet with interests in teaching, supporting their colleagues and a passion for veterinary and client care.

The Practice:

Based in Newport, South Wales, the practice provides a high-level veterinary medicine and surgery to a large and dedicated client base spread across south Wales. They are the only independent out-of-hours provider in South Wales, meaning that their day vets get to retain their client relationships and case continuity, as well as still being able to maintain a work/life balance!

The clinic has all the toys, including DR radiology, endoscopy, on-site Idexx lab, dental radiology, theatre suite with all the necessary equipment.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a full-time permanent position for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. You would be the Lead Vet in this 8 vet clinic, where you will take the lead in creating a supportive working environment with a focus on well-being and good work-life balance. This role would be suitable for a vet that has an interest in teaching and supporting colleagues to be the best they can be,

This is a full-time role with the exact rota and hours to be confirmed, however, there will be no OOH as they have a full night team on site. You will be joining a fully equipped clinic that has a great caseload and offers a great opportunity to work towards a certificate if desired, which would be fully supported.

In return, our client could consider a salary of up to £60,000 p/a subject to skills and experience.
