We are working with a small animal practice in Halesowen, West Midlands that has an opening for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time permanent basis.
Our clients’ have 8 practices including 2 hospitals, all within the Birmingham area. All their surgeries are air-conditioned, and they regularly invest in the very best modern veterinary diagnostic instruments, x-ray, laboratory, anaesthetic and surgical equipment. This means patients will receive the best possible care and treatment.
They have their own vets and nurses work through the night looking after the hospital patients as well as dealing with urgent cases and surgical emergencies that might arise.
In short, they have superb levels of equipment, facilities, and veterinary knowledge, so that they are considered one of the leading first opinion practices in the Midlands.
They have a team of 22 vets-6 of which are certificate holders, 21 RVN’s including 2 certificate holders and 12 SVN’s, 13 veterinary auxiliaries/clinical support staff, 20 receptionists and 11 admin staff.
This is a full-time permanent position for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. You will be working in Halesowen and one other practice. The exact working pattern is to be confirmed. However, there are no night shifts or on call.
Our client is looking for a friendly and approachable vet with a genuine passion for animal welfare and client care. Experienced vets will be confident with routine surgical and medical cases. Newly qualified applicants will be eager to learn and put their theory into practice with the support of this welcoming team. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients.
