We are working with a mixed animal practice in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire that has an opening for a Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
Based in the heart of Sherwood Forest, you will be joining a busy but exciting vet practice. Situated in beautiful countryside with great dog walking, great pubs and surrounded by livery yards with great hacking but less than half an hour from Nottingham city centre. This is predominantly a small animal practice with a good amount of equine, very occasional farm visits but no commercial farms or TB testing. This is a great surgery for expanding surgical skills. This is a supportive practice with an experienced and friendly team.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent position for a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon. The exact working pattern together with any weekends or out of hours is to be confirmed.
The Candidate:
Our client is looking for a friendly and approachable vet with a genuine passion for animal welfare and client care. Experienced vets will be confident with routine surgical and medical cases. Newly qualified applicants will be eager to learn and put their theory into practice with the support of this welcoming team. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients.
