We are currently recruiting for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon on a part-time basis for a fantastic independent practice in Somerset on a permanent basis
Our client is a small and friendly country veterinary practice, specializing in small animal and equine medicine services. Known for their compassion and dedication they provide a caring veterinary service for all their pet patients.
The facilities are the latest available so they are well equipped to diagnose and provide immediate treatment. Facilities include In-house diagnostic ultrasound and laboratory testing. They are also able to screen for dermatophytes (ringworm), feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Our client is a small quiet country practice with a dedicated team and loyal client base
This position is to work 3 days a week on a sole charge basis with 3 nurses and a number of auxiliary staff. Working hours are between 8:30am and 7pm 3 days a week with 1:2 Saturday mornings 9am-12:30pm. There is a weekend on-call rota of 1:4
Our client is looking for an RCVS registered veterinary surgeon with a minimum 2 years experience who is confident and competent at working sole charge. This position would suit someone looking for a slower quieter pace of life in the country. In return our client is looking of offer a salary of around £38,000 although this is dependent on experience, CPD is actively funded and encouraged
