An exciting vacancy has arisen for a full-time permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to work at a well established, busy 24-hour Veterinary Hospital in North West London.

The Practice:

The practice has been a veterinary clinic since the 1920s, offering over 80 years of service to the community. The practice is one of the most sophisticated veterinary practices in the UK. It is exceptionally well equipped across 4 floors with consulting rooms, operating theatre, hospital wards, full laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and an intensive care unit. The practice receives internal and external medical and surgical referrals and serves as the 24-hour emergency clinic for many North London vet practices.

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. The working hours are 10-hour shifts based over 4 days during the week. The weekend rota is 1 in 3 weekends (alternating Saturdays and Sundays) and an on-call rota (2-3 weeks per year and paid for in addition to salary)

They pride themselves on teamwork and the highest standards of both patient and client care. They currently have nurses with further qualifications such as an advanced nursing diploma, exotics certificate, and a BSc Honours Degree. You will be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 1 years post graduate experience and an interest in all areas of hospital practice.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, be driven to learn and a desire to develop their skills and knowledge within the veterinary industry and above all have a passion for the work they do. In addition to the diplomas and degrees, they have nurses currently working towards an ECC certificate, Anaesthesia certificate and ISFM diploma so there is a real emphasis on personal development and staff are encouraged and assisted to use their CPD.
