We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small animal group based in St Albans, Hertfordshire who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full time, permanent basis working a combination of days and nights.

The Role

This is a full-time permanent position, where you will be involved in working both day and night shifts on the following shift pattern:

4 weeks of nights (7 on, 7 off, 7 on, 7 off)

Then 12 weeks of days

During the day week rotation, there will be 1:4 Saturdays and 1:9 Sundays.

You will work ing all areas across this busy hospital (Surgery, Procedures, Wards, and Consultation) and will ensure that set nursing practices and protocols are maintained to the current best practice standard. Your duties will include monitoring anaesthetics and assisting with veterinary procedures as well as being a Clinical Coach to a student.

The Candidate:

Our client is looking for an experienced RVN that has an interest in working on all areas of a busy veterinary hospital environment. Along with excellent communication, you will have excellent fantastic client care and outstanding patient skills. Clinical coaching or training experience would be beneficial but not essential as you will be involved in the coaching of a student.
