We are working with a well-established small animal veterinary practice based in Eastleigh, Hampshire that is looking to recruit a permanent full-time Veterinary Surgeon. This vacancy is open to applications from qualified Veterinary Surgeons of all levels of experience.
This practice has been established for more than 40 years, with the aim to provide the local community with high quality modern veterinary care and staying true to the core values of client care, friendliness, and family that the practice was built upon. They know that people consider their pet to be a treasured member of their family. Bearing this in mind it is their aim to have the whole team here at the practice dedicated to providing the very best in veterinary care. They achieve this by a combination of hard work, continued training for all members of staff and improvements in facilities.
Today they are proud to employ around 8 Vets, 15 Nurses, and a Practice Manager. They find the combination of “older” and long-serving vets and a share of new or recent graduates provides a good mix of experience and new ideas to provide a good service to the community.
This is a full-time permanent role working on an alternating six-week rota which includes a weekend rota of 1 full weekend (Saturday 08:00-13:00 and Sunday 10:00-11:00 & 18:00-18:30) and 1 working Saturday only. There are no out of hour requirements for this role giving a good work/life balance.
They have two branches but you will be mainly based at one site.
As the practice are open to applications from candidates with all level of experience they mainly looking for a vet that will fit in with their friendly and sociable team. You will a professional individual with the care of the patient as your main focus, good communication skills with clients and colleagues is a must.
