We are currently working with a very friendly independent practice that is situated in the historic county of Glamorgan in a part of Wales close to the south west coast in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Our client is currently looking to recruit a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their caring team.
This is a forward thinking, first opinion, independent practice with two branches in close commute of each other in the area. Their main aim is to provide a compassionate and understanding service to their clients and to help the pets in their care with safety and comfort plus peace of mind being of primary importance. The successful candidate would be joining a team of 3 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, & 2 ANAs. In an emergency, they will do all that they can to help the pet in their fully functioning operating theatre. They provide emergency surgery, ultrasound procedures, X-rays, neutering and more.
This is a full-time, permanent position working shifts of either 8:30am to 4:30pm, or 10:30am to 7pm. There is a Saturday morning rota of 1 in 6, working from 8:30am to 1pm. There is no out of hours responsibility. The role will involve working between the two branch practices.
In return the practice can offer a competitive salary, RCVS fees covered, CPD allowance and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
The ideal candidate will be a registered veterinary nurse, with the drive and enthusiasm to work well as part of a friendly and dedicated team.
