We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic independent orthopaedic referral centre in West Yorkshire that requires an experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
The practice was established in 1999, and they moved to their purpose-built hospital in 2004 having outgrown their original premises. They now have five full time vet surgeons and thirteen nurses along with reception and support staff. The premises are state-of-the-art, with air conditioning throughout to keep clients, patients and staff comfortable in all seasons. The wards are monitored by the fantastic nursing team, with inpatients receiving the highest standards of care. Environmental security is of high importance, with biosecurity measures in place across the hospital. They have a state-of-the-are Digital Radiography machine, and investigation and preparation areas. The operating theatres are equipped with excellent lighting, anaesthetic monitoring equipment and positive pressure ventilation as well as air purifying units.
The team is close-knit and friendly, with many long standing staff members. They have a fantastic team atmosphere and can offer support to new employees.
This is a permanent Night Registered Veterinary Nurse position, working on average 26 hours per week. The pattern will be as follows:
Week 1: 7 nights
Week 2: 0 nights
Week 3: 2 nights
Week 4: 0 nights
