We are working with a practice based in Taunton, Somerset that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to work on a part-time basis.
This bright, spacious practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. You will be joining a forward thinking practice who pride themselves on ensuring the quality of care they give to all their patients and clients. The surgery is based in the beautiful county of Somerset which boasts a variety of landscape, architecture and culture. Taunton itself also has much to offer from shopping, entertainment and dining perspectives and is just under 2 hours from London by rail, with the train station an easy walk from the practice.
This is a permanent part-time position for a Veterinary Surgeon. The role is part-time covering an average of 23 hours per week including a 1 in 3 weekend rota, and you may need to be flexible at times. Sole charge is also required at the weekends, so you must feel confident and comfortable with this.
The successful applicant will have great people skills, a good general surgical and medical background, will work well in a team and be confident with sole charge. You must also have good communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients, the patients and the practice team.
