We are currently working with a mixed, independent practice based in Watford, Hertfordshire, who are looking for a confident and enthusiastic RVN to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a long established practice in the heart of Watford, offering Small animal and Equine veterinary care to the local community. Thi is an independent practice and plan on remaining this way. Services offered include consultations, Vaccinations, Euthanasia, Passport, in-patient care, Microchipping, Nurse clinics, Behavioural therapy, Out of hours care, Pharmacy and surgical procedures in their fully equipped operating theatre.
This is a full time position working 38 hours per week on a rota between 08:00 and 20:00. You will likely work one longer shift per week, which is 08:30 - 20:00 and the rest will be shorter, working 08:00 -16:30. 3 weeks of the month you will work 4 days and the rest will be 5 days per week. There is a weekend rota, which is 1:4, working Saturday 08:30 - 18:30 and Sunday is a shared rota between 3 or 4 nurses who decide who will work the hours of 07:00 - 17:00 which can be split depending on preference. There is no OOH with this position. Salary is very competitive and dependent on experience, with CPD, holiday and discounts given a part of a very good package.
This position would suit both newly qualified nurses' and experienced RVNs, The ideal candidate will be a team player and will be willing to get involved in nurse clinics.
