We are working with a practice based near Edinburgh, Scotland that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent full-time basis.
This bright, spacious practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
This is a permanent full-time position for a Veterinary Surgeon. The role will include some weekends on a rota basis so you’ll ideally be confident working sole charge when required but there will be no out of hours.
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills as well as experience of emergency surgery, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
