We are currently working with a state of the art, expanding practice, that is looking to recruit a Head Nurse who will not only support the nursing team but will be part of the clinic's leadership team.

The Practice:

Join the team that dares to do things differently! This purpose-built practice with state of the art facilities offers gold standard care and always puts its team and work/life balance first.

4 full time Vets and a Head Vet (recruitment currently underway), 3 full time Nurse including a Deputy Head Nurse (this role will be the 4th), 3 part time nurses,2 student nurses,1 VCA and reception team.

The practice has 6 consult rooms, dedicated cat room, large prep room, 3 op theatres, separate dental suite, in-house lab room, digital x-ray, separate cat and dog wards and walk in isolation as well as large, spacious reception and a comfy staff room! They have a large client base and have the same net promoter score as Apple! The practice has strong team values and offers continuous progression for their team and is highly supportive of certificates, diplomas and further CPD, as well as internal promotions. The small group of practices are also developing a ‘Internal Referral Network’ between the certificate holders at the practices to provide a comprehensive service in orthopaedics, soft tissue, internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, imaging and radiology consultations.

The Role:

Your standard working hours will be 40 hours per week and will be required to work shifts within the practice opening hours. You will also be part of the weekend rota too, working 1 in every 4 weekends. You will get time off during the week to make up for the weekend hours worked. Please note, these opening hours will change as the customer base grows.

The Candidate:

You will be supported to develop your skills and will have the opportunity to progress as they are a young, growing, thriving company with lots of new opportunities emerging.

You will be key in the running of the clinic, making sure the nursing team are working efficiently and the clinic running smoothly. You will be part of the leadership team working alongside the business manager and Clinical Director in making key decisions. You will also be part of our Head Nurse leadership team across all of our clients clinics, working together to learn from each other and develop new initiatives.

You must enjoy supporting student nurses and being a go-to figure for the nursing team.
