Our client is able to offer a wonderful opportunity for a caring, empathetic veterinary nurse to join their team in a permanent full or part time capacity based in Colchester at their independent RCVS accredited practice.

The Practice: 

This is a lovely practice which is privately owned and where the staff dedicate their time and attention to providing exceptional care & compassion of their clients’ pets. The lead vets are highly skilled and are both certificate holders plus they are ably assisted by three part time RVNs and three support staff. Their aim is to provide their patients with a stress free experience. It is a friendly environment & the practice is able to offer their clients a variety of facilities including :-

ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy, radiography, & laboratory plus their nursing staff are involved in the following clinics - puppy & kitten, dietary & weight management, flea and tic care.

The Role:

This is either a full or part time veterinary nursing post which involves working to a varied shift pattern including long and shorter rotas e.g. 8.15-18.30 or 19.30, 8.15 - 16.00 or 10.00- 18.30 or 19.30 - 5 day or 4 day working week. Weekend rota is 1:3 Saturday 9.00 - 12 noon which would mainly involve inpatient care - if required. No OOHs, No sole charge.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will fully qualified, able to drive, be a team player, & have the ability to relate well to clients and their pets.
