We are working with a client with a practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full or part-time permanent basis. The location is very conveniently located just 10 minutes from the M1.
This practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be joining a team of 4 vets, 2 RVN’s, 8 Veterinary Care Assistants and Receptionists.
This is a full or part-time permanent position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Currently the rota is flexible and the current shift pattern includes Wed-Sun one week then Wed-Fri the following week so the full-time candidate would benefit from a 4 day weekend every second week. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team with a work/ life balance to fit in with your commitments.
You will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player with valuable experience in nurse clinics and surgery.
