We are currently working with a supportive practice in Gateshead, that is looking for an experienced and well skilled Veterinary Surgeon. This is a full-time permanent position that would suit an experienced small animal Vet as this is a Clinical Lead Position.
The practice aims to deliver the highest standard of pet care in a centre has recently been newly refurbished, with great facilities and equipment. This is an ideal role for someone to take a leading role working alongside 8 experienced and supportive nurses.
Voyager computer systems are used in the branches.
Our client is approved by the British Veterinary Hospital Association (BVHA) and therefore maintains high standards of clinical and client care, providing a range of excellent services including being one of the leading referral hospitals in the North East for orthopaedic and ophthalmology surgery, along with a high standard of equipment available. As well as being a recognised and approved Training Practice (TP) for veterinary nurses by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
They have over 60 years’ experience in the Veterinary and Animal Health Industry and can be relied upon to offer expert guidance and support in absolute confidence. They boast a veterinary team that shows complete dedication to the pet-owning public.
This is a full-time permanent position that will include a weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays 09:00-12:00 and no out of hours requirements. The shifts during the week will be 09:00-18:00. The duties that you will be undertaking will include consulting, operating and completing the role on the Clinical Lead for the practice.
The ideal candidate for this role will be confident who is motivated, enthusiastic and most importantly, passionate about animal welfare and providing excellent veterinary care to all patients and clients.
At least 5 years of experience is required as this is a clinical lead position, the right candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic and have good communication skills.
