We are working with a client with a practice based in Blackpool that is looking for a Clinical Director (with partnership opportunities) to join them in a full-time permanent position.

The Practice:

By joining the practice which is based close to Lytham St Annes, you’ll become part of an established and highly respected veterinary team where client care means everything. The team play an active role in the community, enjoy excellent customer feedback and want to talk to highly skilled and experienced, small animal veterinary surgeons looking to step up to Clinical Director with partnership potential in the future. They have the toys you might expect including operating theatre, digital x-ray, in house lab, ultrasound and dentistry and we’re happy to invest in more to allow for the development of specialist interest areas. 

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent position for a Clinical Director. The role is based on 40 hours a week, includes shared weekend work but no OOH, achieving a very important work/life balance. Sole charge is clearly expected in this role and of course, at this level, you’ll get the chance to be involved in shaping the future direction of the clinic. Our clients’ have a sister practice who can provide clinical and advisory support as and when required. CPD is actively encouraged, Certificates paid for, excellent salary, contributory pension and other benefits await. 

The Candidate:

You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills, capable of working sole charge and have strong customer-service focus. You will not just be ‘directing’ the team; you’ll be leading with your sleeves rolled up and operating as Lead Vet with the support of a motivated and collaborative team.
