We are working with a client with a practice based in Edinburgh, Scotland that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them in a full or part-time permanent position.
Our clients’ Edinburgh practices have grown at a phenomenal rate. They have five practices across Edinburgh: Fort Kinnaird, Musselburgh, Bonnyrigg, Straiton (Pentland) and Corstorphine. This means you can choose a location to best suit you. Wellbeing really is part of what they do; they have on site meditation rooms, break-out areas, natural light lamps and a team of yogi’s, rock-climbers, and all-round active professionals. They are leading the way in Complete Care packages; meaning from the minute a new patient registers with their practice, you can focus on pursuing nursing excellence whilst knowing that the basics are all taken care of.
By joining their Edinburgh practices, you’ll become part of a brilliant group, with 7 partners (5 of whom are Vets), plus a knowledgeable team of clinical and client care specialists. They have a dedicated management team, including a people manager, to help their team to perform to their full-potential. Their Support Office provide guidance, including their in-house CPD program and the latest business developments.
This is a permanent position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. You can work either full time (40 hours per week) or part time (hours to be discussed), with no out of hours and weekends on a rota. Our clients’ are happy to hear from experienced or keen to learn veterinary nurses. All their nurses are fully involved in a range of consults, meaning that you will be consulting along with the vets, where you will gain first-hand clinical experience.
You will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills or an enthusiastic and motivated new graduate. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and keen to develop within your own area of interest, the practice will support you in this by offering a generous CPD allowance and, for the right candidate, the opportunity to study for a certificate.
