We are working with a client that has a great opportunity for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis at their practice in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Our clients ’Edinburgh practices have grown at a phenomenal rate. They have five practices across Edinburgh: Fort Kinnaird, Musselburgh, Bonnyrigg, Straiton (Pentland) and Corstorphine.

By joining our clients’ Edinburgh practices, you’ll become part of a brilliant group, with 7 partners (5 of whom are Vets), plus a knowledgeable team of clinical and client care specialists. They have a dedicated management team, including a people manager, to help their team perform to their full-potential. There is Support Office guidance, including an in-house CPD program and the latest business developments.
This is a full-time permanent position for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse. You can work either full time (40 hours per week) or part time (hours to be discussed), with no out of hours and weekends on a rota. Our client is happy to hear from experienced or keen to learn veterinary nurses. Our clients’ nurses are fully involved in a range of consults, meaning that you will be consulting along with our vets, where you will gain first-hand clinical experience.
What’s more, our clients’ nurses are supported and encouraged to perform procedures including, blood sampling, catheter placements, pre-medications, induction, intubation, preparing for surgeries, taking X-rays, anaesthetic monitoring and with training, Schedule 3 procedures.
You will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills or an enthusiastic and motivated 2nd year student. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and keen to develop within your own area of interest.
