We are working with a client that has a great opportunity for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis at their practice in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
The surgery is easily commutable on the A629/A650, also with regular rail links to Leeds and Bradford, so offering you the choice of city living or a more rural lifestyle, and it has the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the doorstep. The practice enjoys a great reputation so this is an exciting time to join the team and work with a growing and varied client base. The surgery owner qualified in 2006 and heads up a 4 vet team with the support of 4 RVNs, 4 receptionists and 1 Practice Manager, all of whom are dedicated to providing the best possible client and animal care. The bright, air-conditioned surgery is lovely to work in and well laid out, with modern equipment including digital radiography, blood pressure, ultrasound, in-house bloods, capnography and cat and rabbit V-gels.
This is a full or part time permanent position for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse with a genuine passion for the profession. The exact working pattern together with any weekend requirements are to be confirmed. You will be joining a friendly team who encourage CPD.
You will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills or an enthusiastic and motivated 2nd year student. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and keen to develop within your own area of interest, the practice will support you in this by offering a generous CPD allowance and, for the right candidate, the opportunity to study for a certificate.
