We are currently working with a modern independent practice in Rotherham, they are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding practice.
The surgery comprises of 9 vets, 3 locums and 5 nurses in each branch there team are friendly and approachable and take pride in providing the best possible veterinary care for all pets, the practice has state of the art facilities which includes: Full surgical facility on-site, including two fully-equipped operating theatres. Their own intensive care facilities - so animals requiring critical care can be hospitalised here overnight. Separate dog and cat recovery wards. Comprehensive in-house laboratory. The latest diagnostic equipment, including digital x-ray facility, endoscopy and voyager computer system. Separate dog and cat waiting areas to make visits as stress-free as possible.
This role would suit a candidate that is motivated, that has at least 2 years experience and be flexible to cover two of the branches as and when required, the vet will enjoy caring for clients and their pets on an individual basis. You will have excellent communication skills and bedside manner, and strive to deliver outstanding veterinary care and customer service to the practice’s loyal clients. You will have a strong desire to bond with clients and get to know their pets and build your own client base.
This is a full time position working a 4 day week, shifts include: 08:30-18:00, 09:00-18:30, 09:30-19:00, weekends are 1:3 working 09:00-15:00, no OOH’s, a typical day would be split between 10 minute consultations and operating.
