We are currently working with a friendly, independent practice in Derby who are looking for a Registered Night Veterinary Nurse

They provide tailored individual care, not generic treatment, and combine a traditional veterinary practice pedigree within modern veterinary medicine, in sickness and in health. Allowing more time for consults than many practices to ensure that you can give the proper level of care to animals.
Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience to join their night team. Sole charge experience and confidence is essential as you will be the only nurse on duty working with 1 other vet. This is a full-time position working 5 evenings/nights a week with shifts either 4pm-1am or 12am-9:30am on a rota basis. Weekends are on a rota basis of 1:3 and follow the same shift Duties will be dealing with emergency and referral cases, therefore, confidence, good communication skills and adaptability are a pre-requisite for the role.
Our client is looking for a candidate with great inter-personal skills, a strong work ethic and adaptable. A minimum 2 years experience is required as is the ability to work sole charge in a demanding environment.
