We are currently working with a long established, reputable, independent veterinary practice that has been successfully caring and serving the community in North East Essex and along the South Suffolk border area for many years. They are looking to recruit a full time permanent small animal veterinary surgeon to join their dedicated and caring team from April/May 2019.
Our client can trace the origins of their practice back to the first half of the nineteenth century. Since then it has grown and now has two branches in Suffolk. This is an RCVS accredited independent first
opinion practice which has 3 directors 2 of which are practicing vets plus a further 11 skilled vets who between them have a wealth of skills and experience. They also have a team of 12 nurses plus strong support staff split across their two sites.
They are in the process of expansion and refurbishment and their facilities include X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory, ECG, dentistry, endoscopy, state of the art Class IV therapeutic laser. Their service also includes:
nurse clinics, weight watchers and food and supplies.
This is a permanent full-time post working 4 days per week. They have a six-week rota that includes a night of on-call each week, with one week off, and a weekend rota of 4/6 off and when you are rota'd work it will be either working Saturday morning then on-call or Sunday on-call all day.
The role is split between consult and surgeries and as they having a large experienced team there is no sole charge required. You will be passionate about delivering quality veterinary care to all of your patients.
The candidate will have at least 2 years’ post graduate veterinary experience, be enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious with a willingness to learn as the practice is fully committed to supporting growth and development. You will be a flexible vet that is hardworking and works well as part of the team.
