We are currently recruiting for a referral practice in the West Mid's searching for a Business Relationship Manager to join the team, ideally you will be a MRCVS or an RVN, however this is not essential if you have come from a non clinical veterinary background. Salary negotiable dependent on experience

The Practice:

This is a specialist referral facility which accepts referrals from practices all over the West Midlands and beyond in Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Feline medicine and Cardiology .

The Role:

As the Business Relationship Manager for this Referral hospital, you will establish and maintain ongoing relationships with referring practices as well as developing and identifying further business opportunities through regular visits.

In this role you will originate new business and build the number of referring practices whilst improving the rate of referrals per discipline. You will support the implementation of the marketing plan, monitor the referral practice database for retention and satisfaction to identify trends and provide action plans to improve the experience of the referral practice vets and build an individual profile to be the contact point for vet practices along with the Client Care Manager. You will also work alongside the head office Operations team to develop business development for each First Opinion practice.

The Candidate:

Extensive experience of client contact and sales, face to face as well as by

Phone. Demonstrable evidence of growth of client base in service industry.

Experience in developing/running successful client events or lecture

Courses. Involvement in marketing campaigns or initiatives. Knowledge of selling techniques. Proven record in this area. Experience of account management combined with proven business development skills. A demonstrable track record of building sustainable relationships with clients. Strong influencing, planning and organising skills. A confident presenter and negotiator with a consultative approach who shows good judgement and focus in their daily work. An interest in the broad economic issues and business trends within the veterinary industry and the competitors in the market. Experience of working within the animal health industry. Relevant Qualifications Degree level or relevant professional qualification.
