We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, friendly small animal veterinary practice situated in Oxford, Oxfordshire. The practice is looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join their dedicated team.
The practice provides veterinary care for 100% small animal. The practice has a wide range of modern diagnostic facilities including X-ray, ECG, Ultrasound in-house laboratory equipment. They have a separate kennel and cattery units as well as their own dedicated operating theatre. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours a week (which is negotiable) the shifts are various and 1-night shift required. The weekend rota is 1 in 4 and will cover the whole weekend. Your typical duties will include consults and operations, with a small amount of branch work (branch is 7 miles away).
You will be an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2-years post graduate experience, Our client is looking for a vet with good basic medical and surgical skills, that also has good interpersonal skills and a European driving licence would be needed.
There is sole charge required for this role so you must be comfortable with this. You will be a vet with good communication skills, a friendly and helpful manner that also has a good sense of humour.
