We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, friendly small animal veterinary practice situated in Oxford, Oxfordshire. The practice is looking for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time basis. This exciting position has become available due to expansion within the team.
The practice provides veterinary care for 100% small animal. The practice has a wide range of modern diagnostic facilities including X-ray, ECG, Ultrasound in-house laboratory equipment. They have a separate kennel and cattery units as well as their own dedicated operating theatre. Their team is proud to be compassionate and well-trained to meet all their clients' needs, adapting to the requirements and willing to discuss options whether it's for treatment, timing or referral.
This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours a week over 4days the shifts are various (between 08:00-20:45). You will have one late shift every two weeks, with 1-night on-call each week and a weekend rota of 1 in 4 (Saturday 08:30-14:30).
Your typical daily duties will include theatre, kennels and branch work (7 miles between practices). No sole charge required in this position.
Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse that has a minimum of 1 years post graduate experience. You will have good general nursing skills and an interest in clinical coaching or nurse clinics would be an advantage but not essential. You will be joining a friendly team of 4 vets and 5 RVNs and our client is looking for an RVN that is a good team player with a good sense of humour.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary between £20,000-£28,000 p/a (DOE) and benefits that include -
