We are working on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their busy community practice.
This practice has a strong team of 3 Vets and 4 Nurses and offers a full range of services including:-
- Free puppy and kitten consultations
- Spaying and neutering
- Digital X-ray
- Dental X-ray
This is a full-time, permanent role, encompassing all typical nursing duties including consultations and operations. You will work 40 hours per week on a shift pattern of 08.00-16.00 and 11.00-19.00. Weekends are on a rota basis of 1 in 4 full weekends - Saturday 09.00-16.00 and Sunday 10-00-12.00. There are no out of hours requirements for this role.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package, subject to experience, including:
- £400 CPD allowance
- 20 days holiday excluding Bank Holidays
You will ideally have at least 1-year experience and will be confident with good communication skills and strong general nursing skills. There will be occasional sole charge at weekends so you should be comfortable with this. You will be joining a great, friendly team so good team skills are essential.
