We are currently recruiting on behalf of an equine only RCVS accredited practice based near Tunbridge Wells in Kent who are looking for an experienced Equine Vet/Clinical Lead to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an ambulatory role.
The practice is proud to provide the highest quality veterinary care within their modern, well-equipped group of equine practices while valuing the close relationship they have with their clients.
They provide a wide range of services, most of which can be provided at their clients’ yards or premises, or at the clinic where ample parking is available.
The practice has a range of diagnostic facilities including large examination rooms, operating suite, hard surface trot-up and lunging area, stocks for reproductive work and other procedures, digital X-ray machine (clinic-based & portable), digital ultrasound machine, digital video endoscope, gastroscope, portable shockwave therapy, weighing scales, stabling, turnout paddocks and turning areas.
This is a permanent full-time ambulatory role, working 08.30-18.30 with out of hours duties 1 night per week with time off in lieu. Weekends are on a rota of 1 in 5. There is a seasonal variety of work with some AI/stud work and visiting specialists provide back up as and when required. In return, our client is offering a competitive package, commensurate with experience and a commitment to CPD with several current and former Vets holding or enrolled on certificates. They are also happy to assist with relocation costs if required.
You will be an experienced Equine Vet with strong leadership skills. With a diverse clientele that ranges from international eventers to happy hackers, the ability to relate to a wide range of clients in addition to leading a team of vets is essential. This role provides the opportunity to shape the direction of the practice and mentor a progressive team.
