We are working on behalf of an RCVS Tier 3 Veterinary hospital based in Penkridge, Staffordshire, who is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full or part-time basis.
This long-established practice incorporates an accredited small animal hospital and a full-equipped branch nearby. They offer a 24-hour care service with out of hours emergency care provided in-house. They accept referrals from other Vets for many advanced surgical procedures in orthopaedics, spinal and soft tissue surgery. They are also comprehensively equipped for equine treatment with hospitalisation facilities. You will be joining a large team of 13 Vets, 15 RVNs, 5 student RVNs, and 5 VCAs.
This is either a full or part-time role for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Full-time hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday working either 11.00-20.00 or 7.30-16.30. Weekends are on a rota basis working 1 in 6 Saturdays and Sundays 07.30-15.30 or 1 in 6 Saturdays 12.00-20.00 and Sundays 15.15-20.00. In return, our client is offering a salary of £10.40 per hour plus time and a half for any weekend work or overtime over the standard 40 hour week.
You should be a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who can demonstrate the ability to work well as part of a large team.
