We are currently recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for a well established multi-doctor hospital in Grayling and Roscommon, Michigan

The Practice:

Our client is a well established full-service companion AAHA Accredited animal hospital. Our client's services and facilities include Routine Veterinary Care, Urgent and Emergency Care, Digital Xrays, Dental Radiography, Advanced Surgeries, Orthopedics, Fully Stocked Pharmacy, Dental Cleaning and Extractions, and Microchipping. They have two sites Garlong established in 1973 and Roscommon established in 1987.

The Role:

This Associate Veterinarian position is a full-time position split across two sites a few minutes apart and open to Veterinarians of all experience levels. The role is full time working 35 hours a week between 8:30 and 5pm. Saturdays are by appointment only and the hospitals are closed on Sundays. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively and accurately diagnose, perform surgery, and treat an array of patients. Be proficient in a variety of skills including laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, diagnostics, dental, and nursing skills. Have a proven ability to perform all basic surgeries, including the use of all standard medical instruments and equipment.

This position would suit someone looking for a slower pace of life in a stunning part of Northern Michigan with a real country community vibe. This position is open to Veterinarians at all levels of experience who have a passion for community caring veterinary work.

In return, our client is offering a fantastic packing including a salary of circa $90,000 (subject to experience), Health Insurance, Paid Holidays, 401K with 4% match plus much more. To be eligible for the role you must be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university prior to position start date and have licensure in good standing to practice in the state.
