We are currently recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for a state-of-the-art AAHA Accredited hospital in Birmingham, Michigan.
Our client is a well-established Veterinary Hospital founded in 1933 and AAHA accredited since 1954 and has built a reputation for their clients and patients to be at the center of everything they do. Our client is a full-service Veterinary Hospital with state of the art facilities including having an industry leading Orthopedic Surgeon on the team. Facilities include a modern surgical suite and examination rooms, digital X-Ray, In-House medical and diagnostic laboratory, and an on-site pharmacy.
Joining a team of 8 experienced veterinarians including Orthopedic Specialist and great support staff, this Associate Veterinarian position is a full-time position and open to Veterinarians of all experience levels including New Graduates. The role is full time working 35-40 hours a week. Duties will be a mixture of consultations and surgery.
The ideal candidate must be adaptable and able to effectively and accurately diagnose, perform surgery, and treat an array of patients. Be proficient in a variety of skills including laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, diagnostics, dental, and nursing skills. Have a proven ability to perform all basic surgeries, including the use of all standard medical instruments and equipment.
In return, our client is offering a fantastic packing including a flexible salary of circa $90,000 base (subject to experience)+ Benefits including PTO, Vacation, Health/Dental/Vision, 401K plus more.
