We are working with friendly small animal practice in Rhondda Cynon Taff, South East Wales that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Vet that will be the face of this branch practice and will work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Our client is are a small animal practice treating a variety of furry friends including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, and hamsters. Their aim is to provide top-quality veterinary care at fair and reasonable prices, with a team of animal enthusiasts treat every pet they see as they would their own. Simply Pawsome! Over their two practices, they have a total of eight Veterinary Surgeons and three qualified registered Veterinary Nurses, a team of Nursing Assistants, Reception staff and Management. In total they have a team of sixteen dedicated staff members, all committed to the core of their chosen profession – animal care!
This branch is equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, operating theatre, separate dog and cat kennels and dental suite. When needed cases can be referred to the main branch which is a short drive away if required (in house blood machines, endoscopy, orthopaedic equipment, cardiac probe with doppler as well as the usual kit!).
The Role and Candidate:
This is a permanent role where you will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, which will include 1 in 6 Saturday mornings. There are no out of hour requirements giving you a great work/life balance.
They are looking for a senior vet to be the face of the branch and they would love for the successful candidate to make the branch their own but would be happy for you to split your time between the two practices if you prefer.
