We are working with a well respected, Veterinary Practice in Birstall, Leicestershire, who are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy practice on a permanent basis.
The dedicated teams of experienced vets and nurses are on-hand to care for pets day and night. Using state-of-the-art technology and drawing on extensive resources and expertise, the practice is able to treat a vast number of conditions. The practice is committed to providing exceptional care delivered with thoughtfulness and flexibility. Comes well equipped with 3 consult rooms, a theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in house laboratory and much more.
This is a full-time position, where you will be working 39 hours / 4 days a week with a weekend rota of 1 in 6 full weekends. This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently in a multi-vet environment with the ability to make sound clinical judgments. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part in the team.

In return, our client is offering a very competitive salary, depending on experience, that includes:
- Competitive salary - Up to £55,000 p/a (DOE)
- Accommodation allowance of £6,600 per annum
- Vehicle or vehicle allowance of £2,500 per annum
- £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
- VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
- 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' post-graduate small animal practice experience.
