The Role:

This is a full-time permanent role. Working 1 in 4 weekends and 1 in 5 on-call weeknights. In return, our clients are offering a competitive salary, depending on experience, that includes:

  • 5 weeks holiday, plus public holidays
  • CPD 5 days paid £2,500 annually, with travel expenses and accommodation allowance.
  • A vehicle with fuel card
  • Professional fees RCVS, VDS, BVA, BCVA

The Candidate:

Our clients are looking for a farm vet to join the vibrant team of six dedicated production animal vets and excellent support staff in independent practice in the heart of Pembrokeshire. The workload is predominantly dairy-based with a good amount of regular routine fertility work, allowing individual vets to form good working relationships with farmers. TB workload is relatively low thanks to a full-time TB tester in the team. There is negligible equine work, with good local specialist equine practices in the locality. The right candidate should have good communications skills, and competent in all farm skills, and a good all-rounder team player.
