We are currently working with a small animal practice in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

This independent, family-owned practice is a first opinion, small animal practice with 3 clinics based near Cheltenham, with a forward-thinking team that has certificate holders visiting them on a weekly basis. The practice has excellent facilities including digital X-ray, laparoscopy, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopic suite, and an in-house laboratory.

The Role:

This is a full-time role working 3 to 4 days per week. 3 days will be in a sole charge position at one clinic with the other day at a nearby clinic. Hours are 08.00-19.00 with Saturday mornings on a rota of 1 in 2 or 3 with hours of 08.30-13.00. There are no out of hours responsibilities with this role.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary, starting from £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday pro rata, bank holidays and a pension. Certificates are actively supported and joint venture partnership is on offer for the right candidate.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience and possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong team skills and an ability to get on with clients and the rest of the team.

Weekends: 1:2 or 3 Saturday Mornings - 0830-13.00
