We are working with a mixed veterinary practice in Adelaide, South Australia that is looking to recruit a full-time Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. This busy practice has the ability to treat large animals, pocket pets, birds, companion animals, and wildlife.

The Practice:

This mixed practice has been in business for over 40 years consulting large and small animals. Their clinics cover a wide area of the Adelaide Hills, providing knowledgeable and caring vet services to a range of species from canines to cows. Their experienced team is committed to providing the highest level of professional service and care for pets and livestock. They have friendly animal health care teams will offer education, advice, and care to ensure pets have the longest, happiest and healthiest life possible. They treat cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rats, mice, birds, cattle, sheep, alpacas, horses, kangaroos, miniature pigs, and more.

Our client believes that if they put their people first the result will follow. To achieve this they have a highly qualified Veterinary Surgeon as their General Manager, who keeps the clinical standards at the forefront of business decisions. They have Veterinary Training Centres to support industry firsts where they offer practical CPD in everything from behaviour through to orthopaedic surgery – so that you have the skills and confidence to care for every pet who comes through your clinic doors. 

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent position and the practice opening hours are Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30 and Saturday 09:00-12:00.

This is a busy and energetic, mixed animal veterinary practice, with a varied caseload and an established core of committed clients. They are looking for someone with the energy and drive to make a real difference, with a commitment and passion for quality practice and high standards of care, along with a great team spirit.

The Candidate:

Our client is looking for a confident and experienced Veterinarian with a BVSc or equivalent and registration to practice in South Australia. You will have a minimum of 1-year practical experience and a commitment to provide exceptional patient care. You will have the ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously, with exceptional communication and client relationship building skills.
