We have any exciting new opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients' established small animal practice in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This practice is part of 13 sites veterinary group that includes a Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital, this practice has a lot of potential for growth and would suit a vet that is ambitious.
Our client has 13 practices, which include a Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital, and their ethos is clinical excellence and putting client/patient care at the heart of everything they do. There is lots of potential here for a keen vet to come in and grow the practice, putting their own stamp on it and seeing it flourish under their care.
This practice is equipped to a high standard with 2 air-conditioned consult rooms, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas, theatre, capnography, imaging suite with digital x-ray and ultrasound, dental including x-ray and lab.
They are a hard-working team that enjoys being sociable together and they have regular events that you can choose to participate in.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client believes in all their colleagues having a great work/life balance so this full-time role will include a 40 hour week working 08:00-20:00 x1 and 08:00-18:00 x3 with a weekend rota of every other Saturday 10:30-12:30. They firmly believe everyone should have a lunch break and should expect to leave on time. All out of hours work is carried at the Hospital practice.
The right candidate will be great at building client relationships and genuinely care about their patients and their team. You will need to be confident with sole charge, although there is support from the Hospital and their colleagues at a Referral Centre for more complex procedures. You will have excellent communication and client care skills, a patent-focused approach with an ability to recommend what you genuinely feel is best for each patient. A willingness to learn, adapt, grow and discuss cases with colleagues in a collaborative atmosphere.
